Perth hosts ANZCS meeting

On 9th and 10th March, the Australian and New Zealand Cornea Society (ANZCS) held its first face-to-face meeting since COVID. It was hosted by myself and colleagues Dr Steve Wiffen and Dr Evan Wong, and the Manager of Lions Eye Bank Lisa Buckland. This meeting is special and unique in that it brings together ophthalmologists, scientists, researchers, and eye bankers from across Australian and New Zealand. Experiences, knowledge, and latest innovations in corneal management and transplant surgery is presented and shared. We all agreed how refreshing it was to have a face-to-face meeting, with peer-to-peer interaction and sharing of knowledge being invaluable.
