Lions Laser Vision acquires first Schwind Atos laser in Australia

It was very exciting to have the latest Schwind Atos femtosecond laser recently installed at the Lions Laser Vision. As part of our history of “firsts”, we are the first laser vision centre in Australia to acquire this laser. It performs LASIK and Smartsight lenticular extraction, and pairs with our Schwind Amaris excimer laser.

The SCHWIND ATOS has been designed around patient safety and excellent clinical results. The benefits include: intelligent eye tracking with pupil recognition and accurate centering, better comfort for the patient utilising a curved patient interface that has an excellent fit to the eye, optimised precision treatment resulting in excellent results and fast recovery of vision after the procedure.
