Talking “all things eyes” on ABC radio

Today I was invited to a live radio session on ABC Perth with Nadia Mitsopoulos. It was exciting to be in the radio studio (love the stand up desk!) and take “live” questions from listeners about their eyes. We talked about a range of topics including advancements in cataract surgery, laser vision correction, getting rid of your reading glasses, and how you can take care of your eyes from younger age. Having good eyesight is important to us all, and it was fantastic to hear all the diverse questions coming in from the audience. It ended by me being surprised and delighted by a lovely patient of mine who called in to share his experience of corneal transplant surgery.
